WowWee has finally moved on from their inane Chatterbots to bring us all the Tribot, which we first introduced you to in February from the CES. Obviously named for its three-wheeled base, the bot can move in 8 directions (including diagonal.)The kewl tilt trigger button allows you to move him in directions by just moving the remote around. He will also tell jokes and stories and refers to himself as “the most rad robot in the galaxy.”
Wait, there’s more. Use Tribot as a guard against alien bots or dogs, as an alarm that needs a tap on the head to shut him up, challenge him to a game of hide and seek, or play one of three driving games. We would have been happy if he just cleaned up our room.

We aren’t all that crazy about gadgets that have the potential to hurt any living creature under the guise of science, but apparently the JAKKS EyeClops was so well received that they updated the device. It now has 3 lenses for 100x, 200x and 400x magnifications. You can still play back images on your TV so your whole family can be freaked out by spiders. This would be particularly meaningful if you had at least a 42-inch screen. There is now an optional vacuum with detachable lid so that you can suck up the little buggers. The new and improved EyeClops will still be available for $50.00 this fall with the vacuum costing an additional $15.00.
One of the honorees at this year’s CES was Spracht’s Aura Mobile BT. The Bluetooth gadget turns your cell phone, computer (VoIP) or cordless home phone into a conference phone. It features a dual speaker system and external microphone. It comes packaged with power adapter, car charger, and VoIP and wireless phone cables so that you can take it along with you wherever you go. The price for the lightweight, diminutive Aura is $129.95.
Bluetrek has claimed that it has the planet’s first headset that not only is wireless but acts as a storage unit. Making its debut at the recent CES, BIZZ appears to be your ordinary hands-free earpiece with 6 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby. With USB 2.0 charging, it also features up to 8GB of flash memory with a microSD card. The BIZZ, which weighs a mere 10g (including its ear hook,) has been launched in the UK with a price of ~£40 (~$80.00.) Check with

There can never be enough cleaning bots. So, in addition to iRobot’s roomba and scooba on the market, there is now one gadget that Hanulkid claims can do both. The bot can sweep door sills up to 1.5 cm high, and features IR, PSD, 3-way gyroscope, geomagnetic, and humidity sensors. When the
